Welcome to our website.  We realize most real estate websites pretty much look and say the same things so we hope to keep your attention long enough to let you know how really different we are.

Our website has all of the same functions as most with some very good links to help familiarize you with what each area has to offer and we have included them here as tools you can return to again and again.

You may be just thinking about selling or relocating in the future; you may be ready to do one or the other or you may not even like realtors or think you don't need them so why should you choose us?

First of all, understand why we have this website.  We have been very successful over the years, reaching out beyond the usual means to attract clients from all over and outside the country to have us represent them in buyer agency.  Buyer agency has far too often become only a blank for an agent to fill in their name and collect a commission.  We know this is wrong and we feel strongly about it.   A buyer agent's real job is to provide a client with excellent market data and trends so that when a decision is made to buy a property it is done so by an enlightened buyer who calls the shots based on real information, not the word of a sales person. So if you really want to make the best decision about a purchase you need to speak with Brokers who are dedicated to that goal.  And we are.

As far as selling a property everybody knows that the bigger the company the better, right? So why choose a family owned real estate company that isn't huge and doesn’t depend on hype? Well we have an excellent answer to that and it's called marketing.  Marketing is another one of those words in this business that sometimes gets thrown around as a given but oftentimes is sorely lacking. We at Maria Teitleman Realty advertise and market properties through both traditional and non traditional media sources.

If you ask the right questions you may be surprised to find out just how well marketed your property will be.  Every listing taken by a Realtor who is a member of an MLS is automatically put on Realtor.com which gets great outside exposure.  But did you know that for the most part it appears only as the company listing with one photo and basic MLS information? Ask if your listing will be listed on Realtor.com as an enhanced listing. An enhanced listing requires the listing agent subscribe to a service which then enables your property to have additional photos and more detailed information and provides a link back to the listing agents website if more information is wanted by someone viewing the property on line.  When we list a property we believe that maximum internet exposure is the key to marketing and not only will it be listed as an enhanced listing with a virtual tour if you want but if your property needs to be in a unique market, for instance if it is a commercial property, land,  recreational, a horse farm, chicken farm, ect., we will expose it to those specific markets because that is the best way we can advertise your property to the most potential buyers. So besides being members of two multiple listing services (the Carolina Multiple Listing Service in Charlotte and the Piedmont Regional Realtors Association in South Carolina) we will work with you to provide you with the best  market exposure in order to get your property sold. 

Last but certainly not least is the automated mailings you can sign up for on the website.  These are referred to in the business as leads.  There is a place for a phone number and email address.  Our company policy is to not ever phone anyone unless they have contacted us and specifically asked us to phone, so if you are more comfortable putting in all zeros please do so but know we don’t ever call unless asked.

If you sign up for automatic listings to be sent to your email remember they are automatic and generated only by the data you enter when you sign up. We do not subscribe to lists or make random mailings.  Aside from a holiday greeting or two or a website update we do not access your email address to poke and prod you because we don’t do business like that.  We realize that may be a risk because it has been said in this business that some people like to be constantly pursued until worn down; that it somehow proves how good an agent is. To be very honest with you, we have never done business that way nor will we ever. We believe good information, real performance and availability proves how good we are.  We pride ourselves on being quality agents, knowledgeable in our fields and we have a list of very satisfied former clients. We want to appeal to you for what we can and will truly do for you, not entice you.
